Terms of sale

The rules for buying from GoPlusMods, in plain language. By placing an order you agree to them.

1. Who you're buying from

GoPlusMods (goplusmods.com) is run by Jappie, a private seller in Roeselare, Belgium. It is not a registered company and has no VAT number. Contact: orders@goplusmods.com.

2. The product

Retail Pokémon GO Plus + units, modified by hand. Every unit has the vibration disabled; the auto-catcher, sound off and dimmed LED are the options you choose at checkout.
GoPlusMods is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Nintendo, Niantic, Creatures Inc., GAME FREAK or The Pokémon Company.
Opening the device to modify it voids the manufacturer's warranty.
Using modified accessories can conflict with the game's terms of service. How you use the device, and anything that happens to your game account as a result, is your own responsibility.

3. Ordering

You see the price, shipping and total before you pay. The purchase agreement is made once your payment is confirmed, and you get a receipt by email. If something goes wrong on my side — for example a unit sold twice at the same moment, or an obvious price mistake — I'll contact you and refund you in full.

4. Prices and payment

All prices are in euro. No VAT is charged, because I sell as a private person.
Shipping is calculated for the country you pick and shown before you pay. Outside the EU, any import duties and local taxes are paid by the buyer.
Payment is handled by Stripe: Bancontact, card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, iDEAL or Klarna. If you pay later with Klarna, Klarna's own terms apply to that.

5. Shipping

Orders are dispatched within 1–2 working days of payment, tracked with bpost. You get the tracking number by email.
Delivery times are estimates. If a parcel is lost, I file a claim with bpost and send you a new unit or a refund once bpost confirms it's lost.
Check your address carefully. If a parcel comes back because the address was wrong or it wasn't collected, sending it again is at your cost.
Near Roeselare? A handover in person is possible — email me before ordering.

6. Returns — 14 days

Changed your mind? Email me within 14 days of delivery, then send the unit back within 14 days after that — unused, complete and undamaged. Return postage is yours. I refund what you paid, including the original standard shipping, within 14 days of receiving the unit back, to the same payment method. As a private seller I offer this voluntarily.

7. Warranty — 30 days

If within 30 days of delivery the unit develops a fault caused by the mod or the hardware, I'll repair it, replace it or refund it. Email me first with a short description (a photo or video helps). Not covered: water damage, drops or impact, and units opened or altered by the buyer.

This warranty comes on top of any rights you have under the law — for example for hidden defects — and does not limit them.

8. Liability

My liability is limited to the amount you paid for the order, except in case of intent or gross negligence, or where the law doesn't allow such a limit.

9. Privacy

How your details are handled is explained in the privacy statement.

10. Law and disputes

Belgian law applies. If you live elsewhere in the EU, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer rules of your own country. Please email me first if something isn't right — almost everything can be sorted out that way. If not, disputes go to the competent courts under the applicable rules.

Verkoopsvoorwaarden

De afspraken voor een aankoop bij GoPlusMods, in gewone taal. Door te bestellen ga je ermee akkoord.

1. Van wie je koopt

GoPlusMods (goplusmods.com) wordt uitgebaat door Jappie, particuliere verkoper in Roeselare, België. Het is geen geregistreerde onderneming en heeft geen btw-nummer. Contact: orders@goplusmods.com.

2. Het product

Pokémon GO Plus + toestellen uit de winkel, met de hand aangepast. Bij elk toestel is het trillen uitgeschakeld; de auto-catcher, geluid uit en het gedimde ledje zijn opties die je zelf kiest bij het bestellen.
GoPlusMods is niet verbonden aan, goedgekeurd door of gelieerd met Nintendo, Niantic, Creatures Inc., GAME FREAK of The Pokémon Company.
Door het toestel te openen voor de aanpassing vervalt de fabrieksgarantie.
Aangepaste accessoires gebruiken kan ingaan tegen de gebruiksvoorwaarden van het spel. Hoe je het toestel gebruikt, en wat er daardoor met je spelaccount gebeurt, is je eigen verantwoordelijkheid.

3. Bestellen

Je ziet de prijs, de verzendkost en het totaal voor je betaalt. De koopovereenkomst komt tot stand zodra je betaling bevestigd is; je krijgt een betaalbewijs per e-mail. Loopt er bij mij iets mis — bijvoorbeeld een toestel dat op hetzelfde moment twee keer verkocht werd, of een duidelijke prijsfout — dan neem ik contact op en betaal ik alles terug.

4. Prijzen en betaling

Alle prijzen zijn in euro. Er wordt geen btw aangerekend, omdat ik als particulier verkoop.
De verzendkost wordt berekend voor het land dat je kiest en getoond voor je betaalt. Buiten de EU zijn eventuele invoerrechten en lokale belastingen voor de koper.
Betalen gaat via Stripe: Bancontact, kaart, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, iDEAL of Klarna. Betaal je later met Klarna, dan gelden daarvoor de voorwaarden van Klarna.

5. Verzending

Bestellingen vertrekken binnen 1–2 werkdagen na betaling, met tracking via bpost. Je krijgt het trackingnummer per e-mail.
Levertijden zijn schattingen. Raakt een pakje zoek, dan dien ik een klacht in bij bpost en stuur ik je een nieuw toestel of betaal ik terug zodra bpost bevestigt dat het verloren is.
Controleer je adres goed. Komt een pakje terug omdat het adres fout was of het niet werd afgehaald, dan is een nieuwe verzending op jouw kosten.
In de buurt van Roeselare? Een persoonlijke overdracht kan — mail me voor je bestelt.

6. Retour — 14 dagen

Van gedacht veranderd? Mail me binnen 14 dagen na levering en stuur het toestel daarna binnen 14 dagen terug — ongebruikt, volledig en onbeschadigd. De kosten voor het terugsturen zijn voor jou. Ik betaal terug wat je betaalde, inclusief de oorspronkelijke standaardverzending, binnen 14 dagen nadat ik het toestel terug heb, via dezelfde betaalmethode. Als particuliere verkoper bied ik dit vrijwillig aan.

7. Garantie — 30 dagen

Krijgt het toestel binnen 30 dagen na levering een defect door de aanpassing of de hardware, dan herstel ik het, vervang ik het of betaal ik het terug. Mail me eerst met een korte beschrijving (een foto of video helpt). Niet gedekt: waterschade, val- of stootschade, en toestellen die door de koper geopend of aangepast zijn.

Deze garantie komt bovenop de rechten die je volgens de wet hebt — bijvoorbeeld voor verborgen gebreken — en beperkt die niet.

8. Aansprakelijkheid

Mijn aansprakelijkheid is beperkt tot het bedrag dat je voor de bestelling betaalde, behalve bij opzet of grove fout, of waar de wet zo'n beperking niet toelaat.

9. Privacy

Hoe er met je gegevens wordt omgegaan, lees je in de privacyverklaring.

10. Recht en geschillen

Het Belgische recht is van toepassing. Woon je elders in de EU, dan behoud je de bescherming van de dwingende consumentenregels van je eigen land. Mail me eerst als er iets niet klopt — bijna alles raakt zo opgelost. Lukt dat niet, dan gaan geschillen naar de bevoegde rechtbanken volgens de geldende regels.
